Carmen Banks – Andrologist

Carmen Banks Carmen received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Maryland in 2015. She developed a keen interest in reproductive physiology and endocrinology through her coursework at UMD. Carmen has been working as an Andrologist at A.R.T. since August 2015. Before joining the ART Institute, Carmen worked as Biological Science Technician at the USDA’s Plant Germplasm Quarantine Program in Beltsville, MD. There, she processed and tested plant material for pathogens. She also conducted a research study that investigated the diversity of the Bamboo Mosaic Virus in plants around the world. Carmen hopes to pursue a PhD in Reproductive Physiology the future.
