Alicia Armstrong, M.D.

Dr. Alicia Brooks Armstrong received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Princeton University in 1977. She received her M.D. degree from Northwestern University in 1981. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health. In 2006 Dr. Armstrong received a master’s degree from Duke University. Prior to joining the National Institutes of Health, she was Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She is currently a Reproductive Endocrinologist, Director of Clinical Services, and the Associate Fellowship Director of the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at NIH. She holds the rank of Associate Professor at USUHS and Howard University School of Medicine. She recently received an NIH Merit Award for her contributions in the areas of clinical and basic science research, clinical care and medical education.
