Carter Owen, M.D.

Carter Owen, M.D. Dr. Carter Owen grew up in Augusta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degrees in French and Biology from the University of Georgia and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. While in medical school, she completed a clinical research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland with a research focus on uterine fibroids. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Currently she is a fellow in the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Owen is an associate member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Medical Association.
