Torie Plowden, M.D.

Dr. Plowden matriculated at Howard University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Biology. She graduated magna cum laude. She then attended The George Washington University where she received both her medical degree and her Masters in Public Health in 2005. She completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI in 2009. Afterward, she worked as a staff physician at Fort Polk, Louisiana and served as Department Chief from 2010-2012. She is currently a fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr Plowden is a Major in the US Army and a clinical instructor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Plowden is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also an associate member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
